Dr. ONAGUN Rasheed is a Senior Lecturer, Assistant Postgraduate Co-ordinator (Master’s Degree Program) in the Department of History and International Studies, and currently, the Level Adviser for 300 Level students of the Department of History and International Studies, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He obtained his Ph.D. in History and International Studies, among other degrees. He is a member of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN). He has created a niche for himself in health historical research. Taking historical research to another dimension, he continues to bridge knowledge gap by showcasing sociocultural, health and medicine as factors of growth and development in the African past. He has published widely in indexed journals and notable chapters in scholarly books. He has attended both National and International conferences with papers read. He is also a visiting faculty/lecturer to other institutions.
